The Blank Rune has come to me,
both as present circumstance and inner state.
The slate is wiped clean as endings are fulfilled
and all that formerly was
becomes as though it never had been.
Nothing is yet written upon the fresh unmarked surface
as emptiness waits to be replenished with unknown newness.
The Blank Rune calls for total trust in what cannot be seen,
courage and an empty-handed leap into the void.
It portends, nay promises, a death.
Rebirth shall come, but who will be its witnesses?
Good question CD...I wonder, Berkana, Ing, Ken and Fehu perhaps, as God is witness? Maybe pure being...I'm drawing a blank...love that Rune!
